Matt + Brigette · Winter Newlywed Session in Vail, CO

Matt and Brigette reached out to me toward the end of 2020 as they were planning their honeymoon to Vail. They wanted to take advantage of this beautiful winter landscape and get some newlywed couples portraits done. I love this, and it’s something that I think I’ll want to do after my wedding as well. You never get to be on that honeymoon high again, and it’s just yet another special session to do that you’ll remember forever.

Not to mention, most honeymoon destinations are ridiculously stunning, so why not get some beautiful photos?

They booked me for a 2 hour session, which I absolutely love, because it gives us so much time to walk around and explore. We were able to ride the gondola to the top of Vail Mountain, get lots of photos up top, walk around the village a little and go to another location just outside of town as well with some gorgeous mountain views.

My favorite moment from this session was when we got to the last location during out session, they both decided to read out some private newlywed vows to one another. It was incredibly sweet, and so beautiful.

I’ve mentioned before that winter tends to be a little slower for photography sessions, but I adore winter sessions. So, if this is something that interests you, I am 1000000% always down to strap on my snow boots, walk through snow banks, ride gondolas, and get out and explore our winter wonderland.
