Joey + Susan · Winter Couples Portraits

I met this beautiful pair of humans and their cute pup while I was grabbing an appetizer with my mom recently (shoutout to the best local spot in Redstone - Propaganda Pie). They were at a table near us and we got to talking (socially-distanced, of course) because of some overheard conversation. We exchanged information and they ended up reaching out and booked a shoot while they were in Colorado for their vacation.

I haven't had anything like this happen since pre-COVID, because obviously people just aren't meeting and connecting like they used to. I'm so thankful we struck up a conversation with these two and got to connect. I had a blast taking them to a few of my favorite winter locations, and of course playing with their sweet pup!

It feels so refreshing to have something like this happen for the first time in a long time and it just makes me even more excited to get back to a state of "normal" again.
