Britt + Jimmy · A Summer Wedding at the Redstone Inn

So, since I’ve been sick from COVID for almost a month I’ve been using this time to play catch up on the blog. I’ve been trying to post like crazy because I know it’s so nice for potential clients out there to see as much as my work as possible! While looking through sessions and weddings that I need to post, I realized I never posted Britt and Jimmy’s wedding. I can’t believe it, it’s been almost 2 years since this beautiful day and I haven’t even put it on my website. I’m kicking myself for not putting this sooner because I love these photos, this couple, and this venue so much.

Better late than never at all! I’m so excited to finally share these with you all. Britt and Jimmy are such a fun, inspiring, adventurous and loving pair of humans. I was honored to capture this day for the two of them and all of their favorite people. From the carriage house by the river, to the delicious food provided by the Redstone Inn, to the dancing into the night and a sparkler exit, this day was absolutely beautiful and fun from start to finish.

Fun fact: Britt and Jimmy’s wedding was actually on the same week that I made the move to Redstone, myself. It was so fitting to get to shoot a wedding here while I was packing up to move to this beautiful little valley. I’ll always think fondly back on this period of time and I love that this day is a big part of that for me.

Also, I just have to add that I absolutely adore the Redstone Inn and it’s one of the venues that I recommend to my clients who are looking around the area. They provide food, drinks, have a full service bar, can block off dates at the hotel for your wedding (so guests don’t have to drive!), they have an event tent as well as tables, chairs, a ceremony site, and a carriage house you can rent by the Crystal River with a patio that looks out over the river and mountains. I can’t recommend it enough, and the staff there is amazing and thoughtful. It’s one of our favorite little dinner/lunch spots or place to just grab a drink down the road.
