Y’all, I can’t wear heels on a normal day and this beautiful mama was wearing them nearly 9 months pregnant and rocking the absolute hell out of them.

I had been wanting to do a shoot with Autymn for a while and I was so excited to finally get together and collaborate on some photos.

This beautiful wom(b)an has since given birth to a gorgeous baby girl. The experience of moving through the waves of motherhood, from pregnancy to birth to caring for a precious being is absolutely incredible to me. Being this vessel of consciousness is one of the most powerful things I’ve witnessed. If you know me you know how connected I feel with the process of motherhood and how much I can’t wait to experience it for myself.

I hope in the future I get to work with more beautiful mothers-to-be and I’d be honored to photograph a birth at some point. I’ve never done it, but I feel very pulled to capturing that experience. I feel like I could just go on and on about how powerful women are in every aspect (mother or not!), how incredible the experience of bringing life into the world is, and how I crave the experiences of motherhood from witnessing it to immersing in it with my own family eventually… but I’ll save those ramblings for another time or we can chat about it in person, maybe :)
