Anna Kay + Phil · Santa Rosa Beach, Florida Wedding

So, when a long time family friend starts dating your high school geography teacher, it’s pretty exciting. When they get engaged, it’s even more exciting. When they reach out to you to be their wedding photographer, it’s jump-up-and-down-squeeling level excitement!!

The wedding was held in the beautiful yard of another dear family friend, complete with decorations by a gathering of loving friends, floral arrangements by my mother and her tribe of friends, chalkboard signs by yours truly… it was truly the effort of all the people who love the two of them. This was an unforgettable experience and SO fun to be a part of.

Needless to say, shooting and attending this wedding was one of the highlights of the year. I had a blast capturing these memories for two people I admire and adore.
