Aspen Mountain Sundeck Surprise Proposal

I’ve been so excited to share this story, and I can’t believe I’m just now getting to it.

Last fall, Eden reached out to me because he wanted to propose to his girlfriend on their trip to Aspen. He was looking for some guidance on where, when, and how to execute this. We hopped on the phone and started hashing out a plan. His friend Jimmy, who owns the famous Aspen restaurant, Jimmy’s, got in on the plan too. We decided to go up Aspen Mountain for a late afternoon proposal.
Jimmy and I planned to randomly run into each other at the top of the mountain, acting like old friends. I was pretending like I was waiting for my family to meet me up there and reading a book in the grass. Jimmy and I played around like we were catching up, and then I offered to take some group photos for them in this beautiful spot.

This is when Jimmy stepped away, on cue, and said, “Can you take a few photos of my friends up here?”

Then Eden popped the question. Of course, she said yes! And there was mountaintop champagne to celebrate.
