Lauren + Jay · Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Session · Grand Lake, Colorado Photographer

I’m a little late on posting this engagement session from last year, as I’ve just photographed their wedding a few weeks ago! But, like always, better late than never.

If you’ve never been there, Rocky Mountain National Park is absolutely incredible. It’s hard to take a bad photo there. Everywhere you look there are scenic views and wildlife. You’ll see everything from moose to elk to marmots to bears. On this particular day we saw 4 (yes, 4!!!) moose including a baby, a herd of elk mamas with their babies playing in a field, tons of beautiful elk bulls with huge antlers, marmots, and of course lots of tourists (haha). Tourists are just about as natural in a National Park as the wildlife and views are. It’s just a part of it. But, the good news is, if you go just off the beaten path you can find serene landscapes with not a person in sight.

I’ve put photos of the animals and some landscapes at the end of this post! Wildlife and landscape photography is not my specialty by any means, but I do love to capture the world around me. So I hope y’all enjoy the photos!
